Well, we're done. Hopefully Peter will post the results soon. I had a great time, and some of the most entertaining games I've ever had. Everyone was an absolute pleasure to play against as well. Thanks again to Pete and his helpers for putting on a great event.
Winner of "World's Okay-est DBA Player", 2014, 2015 and 2017.
Indeed it was a most enjoyable tournament - the only sad note was that the much touted Sung vs Dog Peoples championship match failed to materialise. The Hill Crusher was just too good on the day for me to meet him using a Swiss Chess Draw.
Of course - getting 4 wins from 6 and high points for my two losses on day two means I can't really complain - dragging my sorry butt from 20th to 8th with a Cb/Art combination is something to crow about. Every game followed the same pattern - could I set up the valley of death and kill enough of the bad guys before they got in amongst it and I folded up like an origami crane.
