The Nashville Leg of the Good, bad and Ugly Tournament is now history, being held this past Saturday, November 5th. The core group of HotT players showed up and a truly wonderful facility made available by Josh Krebs. Realizing the small number of players, two long tables were set up with four game boards, but with only six players we used only three boards. I was not surprised at some of the locals not being able to make it as this was also the weekend of Fall In and I know many of the locals guys enjoy attending that convention.
We played three rounds and except for Dave Cliffel taking the lead from the start and not budging from that position the other scores changed some what as each round was played. We tried a new scoring system to hopefully remove the penalty for winning a game with less than 12 enemy element points destroyed. It worked OK, and may have been better than the old system which seemed to penalize an early win by taking the General or the Stronghold, but we’ll continue to look at it and maybe have an even better scoring system for next year.
The final results and the armies played were, in order
Dave Cliffel – Mirada – Bad
David Crenshaw - Picts – Bad
Paul Potter – Geats – Good
Terry Webb – Ninja – Bad
Bill Banks – Strange and Norrel – Good
Bob Gunter – Romans Good
For the first time in Nashville history, Bad stomped Good winning 7 games to 2.
A few pictures of the event.

The participants, all smiles after some hard fought battles.

During the first round., with some surprising results at the end….

My Ninja army with Lady Snowblood and a Tora (tiger) facing Paul’s new Geat army.

Had to include a picture of the beautiful standards Paul had done for his new Geat army. He told me they were all taken from vintage sources and I thought they were awesome. My apology the picture is a little blurred.
