All the infantry figures for two command of Muslim North African were prepared today. This involved cleaning, swords swapped for brass spears, arms repositioned and the left arm of each filed flat to accept a shield; these were despatched yesterday from Donnington. Painting the 14 elements will begin next week but will have to wait for shields before basing them.

The Muslim North African infantry are done, but the 24 spearmen and 6 skirmishers lack shields. Hopefully these will arrive this week, but until then about 6 or 8 flags and banners will be needed for the two commands.

The mailman delivered my order with Donnington. Later this evening I shall undercoat all the shields necessary to arm the Muslim North African. Photos should be posted later in the new week.

The two Muslim North African commands are now complete with their flags. I will varnish these tonight and photos should be posted on Thursday.
Adding shields, rebasing, texturing and flocking was done at a leisurely pace while listening to an audiobook “Kingmaker - Winter Pilgrims” by Toby Clements. What a tempting period, War of the Roses.

Nice work.
Just based some of those Essex horses myself and bent a number of tails to the sides to solve the overhang problem. Didn't feel like trimming, although with the extended 'at a gallop' stance of the horses the tails would logically be in line.
At any rate will be adding these photos as well to the 'reference' files.

Cracking work - well done 😊 P Thank you for the kind word. It is good to see new life injected in an old collection.

Lovely, 34 Tuareg infantry and skirmishers are done. Tomorrow, animal skin shields will be made with Milliput. I have four done, but need to develop and system to quicken the process.

One of the things I got my partner to point out to me when we were at a B&Q, so I knew what the heck you both were talking about
