Eight LH for the Dynastic Bedouin are done. I must say I have surprised myself with the number of figures that have been treated since the start of the project (25 Feb.). You are correct Goragrad, the Abbasid bowmen could pass as wraiths.
Eight elements are all that remain for the Dynastic Bedouin and their allies to do and these will be added to the queue for photos.

Dynastic Bedouin cavalry and Kurdish allies are painted. New banners will replace the old ones and new model types will be added to the infantry. Sketches with colour schemes have been done, so painting can begin tomorrow.

The Tulunid/Iqshidid Egyptian will be posted at the end of this week. The Abbasid are next on my list and sketches of new uniforms and banners are done which works as an extra stimulus.

The Abbasid have their banners and photos will be posted to the blog on Tuesday. The Zanj (3Bd) turned out better than expected.
The skull caps failed, but adding a bit more Milliput, I managed a variety of headgear included a few with dreadlocks.

The Abbasid The last of the refurbishing project is now posted to the blog. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see photos of the Abbasid. Following the success of the Zanj, I will convert more Colonial Sudanese to fill the various horde options (4 x 7Hd + 2 x 5Hd) for these armies.
Not a high priority, but one that will eventually be needed. dbagora.blogspot.com/2020/03/renewing-arab-collection.html

Following the refurbishing of the Arab collection I continued painting, this time a Renaissance army.
Yet, after reading all the battle reports of solo games at Fanaticus, I decided to clear the table and play a few double size battles; the Nikephorian against the Dynastic Bedouin. Pleased with the results, I will post a report with photos tomorrow.
