Cheers Vodnik re "the tents in the camp are from: By Fire and Steel. The mat in the photo below is from: Deep Cut Studios. I made the mat in the picture above from carpet tiles. But I didn't see any blue coloration anywhere. Maybe you have a low-cost provider"
More Likely low cost image collector and eyesight issues!! CarlL

Next I'd like to shape some rocky and scrubby terrain, but I can't make up my mind...
Any suggestions?

Nothing special, just a simple solution for my scrub: a grass mat and some bushes glued in.

Timurilank nice work on your terrain; it will give 'Brian Boru' some terrain building mojo juice.
Brian Boru, you could use simple solutions like random pieces of cut out sandpaper for rocky / rough bases, and simply add some garden pebbles to add variety of height and weigh the sandpaper down? (Although personally I have done similar to Timurilank with mdf or hardboard or think card board bases. Mind felt bases gives you something more flexible to roll over gentle hills?)

Rocky terrain built from scratch. First step: a piece of a printed cardboard box that contained bakhlava.

'Brian Boru' you have pulled it off again, in very effective but simple (not simple silly but simple to the point) terms; in essence from 'flapjack' to rocky terrain with some veg (vegetation) with some beautiful strokes of artistic licence!!
CarlL
PS What are the rocks (made from)? A) Resin / plastic? B) real stones? C) cork? D) other?
Answers on a postcard please.... cos I cannot tell what the eck they are............

Hi CarlL, answer B) is right. They are some limestones. I gathered them on a parking lot near to the ruin Homburg, north of Würzburg. I noticed how flat they were, so I thought they might be good for basing and terrain, and took some with me. I used them also for my HoTT army of dinosaurs...
