I echo the vote of thanks to Keith. Good day out, good opponents and a selection of wonderful armies on display and it would not be an authentic DBA experience without my shite dice throwing as always. Many thanks Keith.

Thanks Keith for organising and running such an enjoyable day. I took EIR in the expectation that nobody else would take Romans. I would then clean up in the prize for the most successful Roman army. How wrong was I! I think there was an almost clean sweep of Romans of all ages. Having said that I understand why the real Romans spent such a lot of time fighting each other. It is good fun. I had five tense games with excellent opponents (which in itself is enough to make for a good day), and in addition came home with a cushion in the shape of a shield by way of a prize. I never, ever, thought I would return home from a wargames competition bearing soft furnishings. Brownie points all round. Hope to see the comp run next year. Stephen
