ALTON DBA, April 15th 2023.
Early heads up: while there’s a gap in the UK DBA tournament scene I thought I’d ‘pre-announce’ the Alton DBA event for 2023. (Scores from this will be submitted to the SoA UK DBA League).
This year the theme will be Viking related (see below), and the format will once again be ‘my own worst enemy’, in which you play six games, three with and three against your own army. Players might wish to consider this when choosing their (not so super-) army for the event! Bit of time available to construct an army if you plan to attend (or a few loan armies will be available, with a bit of pre-warning).
This year we have a NEW VENUE, which will be Chawton Village Hall, Winchester Rd, Alton GU34 1RX (to keep costs down to ‘reasonable’ levels, after previous venue hiked its prices). Those arriving into Alton by public transport - I will endeavour to arrange pickup by myself or likely another player.
Entry will be by pre-registration and pre-payment, likely to be around £6.50.
DETAILS WILL BE ANNOUNCED IN JANUARY.
