There are example lists in the rule bookโฆand then itโs up to the playerโs imagination. Almost anything can be a Hott army. Thatโs one of the strengths of the rules, IMHO. Ok. One of my children loves prehistoric era. But the bronze age army list in DBA isn't very fun to play imo. So i wasthinking about putting some mammoth and sabertooth tiger in her army. It's nice to see that you can play quite everything. I've readen here about orks and space marines, you also play these with Hott ? I used epic Orks today and am planning on a SM force to face em, I also have a force of Orc Boar and Goblin Wolf Riders. Though to be fair the O&G force as has also stood in for Mongols in DBA.

I can change thread if needed.
I'm wondering which kind of element could be the space marines ?
And because it seems we can play quite everything, it may be fun to make some WWI list (i mean for me) to use all the quite 1/72 figs i have. I definitely need to read carefully the rules. Is their somewhere a list or something like this, listing what can be what ?

It's nice to see that you can play quite everything. I've readen here about orks and space marines, you also play these with Hott ? You can play anything with HOTT. You just have some basic rules for the budget : * an army budget is 24AP * 12 AP maximum can be used on special elements that cost 3 AP (Hero, magician, behemoth, artillery...) ans that's it. The basic troop (spear, blades, riders, knights... ) cost 2 AP each. Some cost only 1AP each (Hordes, Lurkers). Then you can use any models to make up your troops. For instance, the ASAG army was made with stones. But you could do exactly the same army with orcs : the basic orcs would be the hordes, wolves could be the beasts, trolls could be the behemoth and an orc on a wywern could be the flying hero. Same army organisation, but completely different figures. That is one of the advantage of HOTT : total freedom on the figurines you can and want to use. If I do take the last armies I did paint, I have : * garden gnomes fanaticus.boards.net/thread/3250/hott-tournament-ballainvilliers-paris-november* banana knights see above * pirates. 15etdice.forumactif.org/t181-21e-lem-au-kremlin-bicetre* elementals * Aasag On the painting bench are grey aliens, and the next ones should be mayas. On the longer term, I plan to do Asag again (3D printed), US army in Vietnam or in the 50's to match the aliens, hawaians, chaos dwarves. The choice of the armies is purely based on the figurines I want to use. HOTT allows you to field quickly armies you like the figures, and to have a reasonnably competitive army in all cases. Yours sincerely

Thank you so much for sharing these. I'm now inspired to making an army for my mythical Sumerian army of ๐๐ (uruk) to fight and I think ๐๐บ (asag) will make a good opponent with their rock army.
