The typical pike block of the renaissance was not not purely pikemen, it typically included a central core of halberdiers or zweihander blade units.
So how would this type of mixed formation be represented in a DBA game?
Blade as a rear/side support unit to the pike with appropriate rules?
Or treat them as a new type of pike(x) under DBM rules?
Other?
P.S. Similarly, how would DBA/M model a mixed formation like a Spanish colunela (1/3 pikemen; 1/3 sword-and-buckler men; and 1/3 arquebusiers and crossbowmen)
P.P.S. Funny how DBA has a fast pike (3PK) but DBM does not have a pike(F).

Would DBM's Ax(X) also be used for DBA's 3SP?
