menacussecundus the late bronze elite warriors should wear a bronze cuirass, and probably a cloak for what i know. i would like the cuirass to be visible, to show the bronze colour on the army. But yes, for now i'm just try to check each figurines i can find ^^ Presumably a helmet as well. I suspect the real limitation on your choice will be shield shape. I assume it should be similar to the one on the Museum Miniature figure you already have. Shield is an issue for sure, but it should be easy to solve. The Miniature Museum are a bit square, but i should be able to file to the shape i want. The helmet could be also a problem, maybe harder to solve because i am not really good at sculpting little things like this.
Bu if i could find some beautifull figs with cuirasses, if possible without a shield just in front, i'll try to convert them into bronze age warriors.

Do you think Museum Miniatures GL14 would give you roughly what you are looking for? (They have a shield, but you might be able to file it to match the one on CG13.)
Or maybe use CG14 and paint on the cuirass?

The problem with Museum Miniatures figs is mainly the scale of the photo... It's hard to figure out really how they will look like. And living in France, i have to pay taxes each time i order, which become expensive.
You think the GL14 has acuirass ? I think it may be a chainmail, which would be too much unhistorical. But if the CG14 would have one, it would be a solid pretendent for sure. Even if blade wouldn't be very accurate (they used more spear i think), it would give more "bronze" to paint, and give the army a better look.
Thanks for seeking with me !

The photo of GL14 is too small to tell, but the figure could be wearing a cloak over a standard tunic. CG14 is much like the Galatian but has the distinct Spanish helm (no chainmail). Keep in mind, Museum offers a 25% discount in January, that should offset the import tax some. Have you considered the Corvis Belli Gauls offered by Totentanz Miniatures. totentanz-miniatures.com/product-category/celts/

I asked Dave at Museum Miniatures. He said he doesn't think GL14 has a cuirass. However, unless there are very deep folds in the material, I think you could probably get away with just painting the top part of the tunic bronze.

Could you help me to choose how to use these figurines ? : Time to find some final advices, as i have 15 days to finalise my order in Museum Miniature ^^
I think i will mix this (CG13) and the CG14 (quite same but with sword), but i'm not sure which one to use for what. i need 4Bd and 3/4Ax. Maybe i could use only CG13 for 4Bd, and mix with CG14 for 3/4Ax ? This would lead to quite all the army with only two differents figs, but i can't find better.
I also need 1 LCh, 1 Cv, and 2 Ps
Lch: The best otion may be to buy a chariot "just for the chariot", and put one CG14 and one CG13 inside. Any idea of the best chariot for this in the Museum Miniature range ?
Cv: The easiest way should be to go for the CG20 spanish cavalry. The helmet seems a bit different, but not too much. The shield is inappropriate but could be filed. Others ideas ?
Ps: I have some gallic bowmen in stock. They should do the job, don't you think ?
As always, i'm looking for return !
