Up until 2017 our club “Ulmer-Strategen” had held 2-3 DBA tournaments in 15mm and 28mm each year. Due to many changes in Job, pandemic, etc. we have suspended all events for a few years. A "test tournament" in May this year was a great success and we all had a great day. That's why we want to do a second tournament this year, but this time in the Biblical epoch.

Venue: Fort Albeck – Übermorgenwelt, Ulm,
Fort Albeck 14 (Albecker Steige 14), 89075 Ulm
Sunday, November 20th, 2022
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m
Rules:
DBA 3.0 in 15mm, only painted armies from book 1 up to max 500 bevor Chr. The armies must have at least 1 chariot.
We play on a playing area of 80 x 80cm.
We only allow the BUA types Hamlet (Village / Hamlet / Rough Going) in the tournament and Edifice (Ruin / Bad Going).
We have a few armies to borrow, please inquire if needed.
Our club has a lot of terrain, but please bring your own if possible.
The designated army may not be changed between games.
We organize a "Bring & Buy". You are welcome to bring your hobby stuff that you want to sell/exchange.
This is done at your own risk and expense.
Registration via info (at) ulmer-strategen.de.
Participation is free and there is a lot of glory and honor to be won ;-)
The opponents of the first round will be drawn, then Swiss system.
Tournament Conditions/Victory Points:
-Big Victory: 20 points for a victory as per rules
-Small Victory: 15 points = Game time over and more elements than the
opponent knocked out (but no win)
-Tie: 10 points = Game time over and both players have equal
number of dead elements
-Small defeat: 5 points = Game time over and you have fewer elements
than the opponent knocked out (but not defeated)
-Defeat: 0 points = If you lose
Blood Points (adapted to DBA 3.0):
A maximum of 25 blood points can be achieved per game (in addition to the victory points).
-Sickle chariots, hordes, camp followers, denizens (town dwellers) don't count towards casualties,
so they don't count for blood points.
-The first double-based element counts as 10 blood points.
-Each other eliminated element is worth 5 blood points.
-A general element counts 5 additional blood points.
-A plundered camp is worth 5 blood points.
We only allow the BUA types Hamlet (Village / Hamlet / Rough Going) in the tournament and Edifice (Ruin / Bad Going).
Occupying these terrains gives no victory or blood points
Example: The winner of a game (4 vs.3) gets 20 points for victory and 20 points for knocked elements = 40 victory point points.
The loser of the game gets 0 points, but 15 for the eliminated enemy elements = 15 victory points for the loser)
Why do we need "blood points" ? To determine a winner in case of a tie :-)
