Brian Boru, I have seen the Busch 125ml model water for sale but never tried it. How many bottles of 125ml would you need to create the kind of effect (space and depth wise) that you made in that last piece?
I ask as I have made frozen rivers (from clear styrene with snow effect on top loosely) and frozen lakes too, as well as traditional wargames rivers mostly layers of paint then varnish over resin cast rivers, but nothing quite as lovey as your last piece. Next time I need a coastline, river or lake I might give it a go. But at around £10 (GBP) for a bottle of 125ml it may be something thats expensive to produce.
How much did you need to use Brian? (I can be a bit mean in my terrain making as all bar the ready made bare resin river pieces were made from scraps above, even my four (or was it six!?) feet of frozen river.... CarlL

CarlL Hi CarlL, I made 5 different parts of waterway and needed almost a whole bottle of 125 ml Busch model water to cover a surface of about 100 squin (ca. 1 page DinA4). But I think in future projects I should be able to cover much bigger surfaces by using a brush. For this waterway I was quite profligate and poured it straight out of the bottle because I enjoyed the look of the waves. Brian
