I have just acquired Richard III game by Columbia. Very impressed so far and is crying out as a campaign vehicle for DBA battles!

Hi Cromwell, It most certainly would! I did something similar with the Cousin's War boadgame. Only problem is the symmetric nature of the WOTR armies makes for some rather dull battles. I have long thought that the game Sekigahara: The Unification of Japan, would also make an interesting campaign vehicle. But I have not had the time to dive into it. Best, Ed

I am trying to work out away to convert the block strengths in battles on the game board to DBA armies.

How would it compare with King Maker as a campaign boardgame, Mr. Roundhead?

I prefer it to Kingmaker. It seems cleaner and the combat system is swifter and better representative of the era. in my opinion
