These Tin Soldier minis have been around for a while but needed a little touch up as well as some buildings before going on to the finished pile. Persians next on the list. Cheers Jim

Nice ensemble. Very colorful. Well done with the classic, Cartho' shield patterns, especially like the blue porpoise. I always chuckle at that quintessential, Charthaginian motif, which, to me, looks like a "surrendering nun". (You know the one.) Easy design to paint, though, right?
Again, nice work.

I must admit that Tin Soldier miniatures do have a certain charm about them (much like Mikes Models figures). Hopefully you have some Syracusans as opponents…

Tin Soldier miniatures do have a certain charm about them (much like Mikes Models figures). I don't want to hijack "jim1973's" thread, but I gotta ask myself: If Tin Soldier minis have a charm like Mikes Models, then why I have never bought or painted any???

Perhaps the types of Wargames miniature/figure sculpting styles a man likes are much like his preferences for the ladies. Not everyone likes the same and we all have our preferences. Tin Soldier do make some very nice miniatures - but I can see that they’re not necessarily to everyone’s taste. Cheers, Geoff
