This year's SoA sponsored tournament is to take place on Saturday 5th March (registration 09:30-09:50; start at 10:00am), returning as part of the Hammerhead show at the Newark Showground. Entries are now open!
This is a 15mm matched-pairs tournament, played with v3 rules, with all armies & set terrain provided. It will incorporate 6 rounds of games and the theme this year will be ‘Mediterranean Classics’.

The North is not well served by the DBA community, unfortunately, with the centre of gravity being more Midlands and South. Si Wilson does a good job with at least a couple of tournaments a year in Derbyshire (if you count that as the North 😉) and that’s about it…
Presumably when the DBA Northern Cup was first set up it was so called because it was the most northerly DBA competition? Now Simon has come along and set up all these other competitions which are more northerly!!
Although as none of Simon's competitions have a cup as a trophy, perhaps Paul can still keep the title?
Except! the DBA Northern Cup isn't actually a cup it's more a tankard, so maybe a misrepresentation of goods legal suit is still on the cards??!!
