Hello all, I have been out of the DBA game for a long time, but decided to take 2022 as the year to jump back in.
Currently finishing an Early Egyptian Army (Before the chariots) and have a UR Sumerian one lined up.
Also, recycling my Marian Romans (This was my first army almost 30 years ago!) and converting a DBM Gallic army into DBA Gauls & Britons.
Then I wish to restart (Did a long time ago somewhat) a Late Roman Empire and Enemies campaign. SO far have Patrician Roman (West), Franks, and African Vandals in the works. If I finish all these before the end of 2022, I will expand this latest period to include some Sassanids and Huns!
Good luck in your endeavors!

Welcome to the Fanaticus Forum. I had a similar journey with the same armies and these can see seen at the blog - dbagora.blogspot.com/Click on the “ Index, Storm Within the Empire” to find other armies.

I look forward to seeing them in the flesh, or should I say, lead? I also need to get an army in case the numbers are odd and I need to play! Simon

I'm hoping to do up IV/19a Tarascan/Toltec-Chichimec army to match my Aztecs and Mayans, possibly with some Spanish for the IV/19c Tlaxcalan morph. Well, it ended up taking a couple months, but this is now complete!

Like Leo72, I have come back to DBA after a long gap (I think my last game was with version 1.1 !!) and initially set my sights on my lead mountain of unpainted 28mm and big 25mm from 1990s! (I cant really recall when as it so long ago, but at the dawn of 28mm as a wargaming miniature as opposed to fantasy miniature.) So far its gone well having painted up my 28mm Berber Islamic giant DBA army and yesterday finished a giant DBA 28mm Carolingian army. Success has gone to my head and instead of picking out a 25mm DBA army from my lead stash I went and bought a Giant DBA 28mm Western Sudanese army! Wish me luck that the painting mojo keeps turning over!! CarlL

I'm well into my Three Kingdoms of Korea armies. I hope to have them finished by May for David Lawrence's Collision Course tournament. After that, I'm not sure what will be next.
Cheers,

Want to build an early Vietnamese army (1.49) but cannot find out much about them. One site gives artist impressions of the elite cavalry but nothing on the PBI. Does anybody know of any sources please?

Must finish my 15mm Macedonians, the want to plough through 6mm DBN Russians and French. Obs all this could be blown out the water by the Irish and additional Vikings that er indoors got me for SAGA, they were talking to me in my sleep and convinced me to start prepping them at half four this morning. I am loving SAGA at moment, almost as much as DBA. I did Vikings and Anglo Saxons last year for Saga. Citadel Contrast all the way with the AS. It was WORTH IT. My Irish are next, but only because they get to have War dogs. The nice thing about 28mm dark ages is there's a bunch of rules out for them now. Will try Clash of Spears next (I already invested in the Samurai Kickstarter).

I am planning on re-basing my Wars of the Roses armies when I finish my current WotR campaign, and getting a few more figures so all options can be fully covered. Then I am looking at organisaing my 6mm Renaissance armies which need new bases and again a few more troops.
