So, today I submitted my lists for CANCON. Day 1 is Ancient British with EIR allies and Day 2 is Medieval French. See everyone in just over 2 weeks. Cheers, Greg, I'm surprised! Allies? I thought you didn't like allies? My choices are: Day 1 I/32b Wu or Yueh Chinese, and Day 2 IV/54b Medieval Scandinavian (submitted this morning). Gary, my attitude to allies, like the wind, can be variable 🌪😉. See you in a couple of weeks. Cheers,

So - aside from the Sledging (BTW The Blues will be Sung on Day 2 by my opponents AND it won't be my army on day 1 that will be described as Late ) Has there been any advance on the 19 entries? Cheers

I've just checked the DBA registrations for CANCON and there are now 20 players. Hopefully all 28 slots can be filled.

Won't be making an appearance this year. Family holidays have taken preference on my leave balance. Hopefully it goes ahead with all this Covid hullaballoo.

Received the Cancon Runners and Riders list from Peter Braham late last night. It's a big commitment running a comp, dealing with venue organisers, interacting with players, checking lists etc. So, with only a few days to go, I'm pretty pumped and just wanted to acknowledge Peter's fine work in making it all happen.

Sorry Obidiah - I find it best to prioritise cleaning the house up before the women in my life get back from their weekend away so that the house looks less like several middle aged men spent the weekend drinking red wine and playing toy soldiers.
All done now - so the final results were

Well done to Greg, top half of table with Ancient British. Thanks for that Baldie. The Ancient British, with EIR allies, had a 4-2 win- loss record, the direct opposite of the Medieval French. Cheers,
