I'm in. It's a good excuse for me to paint a new army. The question is: Do I go for something zippy with lots of 5Hd, or double down on the 7Hd tar-pit? Decisions decisions.... Whichever you decide, paint lots of them!! Just two elements of Horde is for wimps. Just putting my hand up as a wimp. 2 x Horde is plenty. My play is a big enough handicap, I don't need any further challenges!! |

He gritted his teeth through all the anachronisms until the end when the leading lady rides past the crucified gladiators along the Via Appia (which we all know runs from Rome to the heel of Italy) and says "This is your son" to @therealspartacus then alludes to going to start a new life in Aquitania.
He stood up and cried out
"You stupid woman, you're going the wrong way - Aquitania is to the west Dammit, the WEST!!!"

And you know I'll be there  Will I commit to a crazy notion of the Early Libyans or will I play it safe with the Sung and their grand battery  Only time will tell Cheers Go Early Libyans, they're fun! (Depending upon your definition of fun of course!) And if you manage to win with them it does give you an extra glow. At this stage I am planning to take my Southern Sung off to Cancon for Day 2, so that tips the balance in favour of something else (which might or might not be North African) for February.
But I do worry about my ability to make an impact with an army where the heaviest punch would be delivered by a 3Wb general

Now Cancon is fast receding in the rearview mirror, I thought I'd remind everyone of the next Sydney / Canberra friendly event - the 'Great Unwashed' being held on March the 20th in Goulburn.
Please let me know if you need the list of eligible armies - those with at least 2 Horde elements. But remember, fortune favours the brave and extra victory points are on offer the more Horde you bring! My email address is mbaker@tgpublic.com.au
