Salutations, gentlepeople !
Acquired some of the Wargames Factory 'Saxon Fyrd' plastic figures - hard plastic '28mm'. Wondered if you folk have techniques to 'roughen' the plastic surface, give it some 'tooth' for painting.
Tried soaking part of the sprue in white vinegar for a couple of days. No noticeable effect.
At this point, probably just going to wash off with Mr Clean solution, rinse, dry, and spray with flat tan. Suggestions for preferable treatment welcome !
Thanks very much

I dont do anything with them, not used wargames factory but presume they are same stuff as gripping beast. Just a nice white primer and off you go.

There are some airbrush primers that can give some tooth like Stylnylrez. You can brush it on if you haven't an airbrush.

Hi, You don't have to 'roughen' plastic miniatures nor to wash them. Just spray them with black or white primer and go on painting!
