Here's the next on the list. They've been around for a while but recently revised. They're old Museum Miniatures not the Z type.. Not super happy with the old basing but that will have to wait. Cheers Jim PS The tropical army is next!

I love the Camp đ ... ...although the Edifice looks too large to be an Edifice Camp.

The camp is from Baueda but the camp followers I can't remember. Essex? The Edifice has Baueda, a couple of souvenirs from the British Museum and half a flea market souvenir from Cairo. The rockface is polystyrene. It's separate from the base for playability. It was never meant to be a camp Edifice because of the if/but/except rules for camp Edifice in DBA!
Cheers

Actually Jim, I was wrong.
You could use your Edifice as an Edifice Camp⌠âŚ.if you have part of it overhanging a table-edge so that only 3 BW long and 1 BW deep is on the table.
It will need to be touching your own table base-edge howeverâŚ

Looks awesome! I think I have Edifice Envy. I like how your Camp Followers have already sallied forth from the Camp. (Maybe they're just "practicing".) Again, well done.

Well Lesp1964, it all depends on whether you follow the FAQ Teamâs rule clarifications or not. Quote:- Edifice: Q: I have a large Pyramid model (Edifice) that I would like to use as a camp. It is larger than the specified camp size. Can I still declare it as a camp? A: No, for an Edifice to be declared a camp, it must meet the camp size restrictions. It goes back to the sequence of actions. Terrain is chosen. Terrain is placed. A side is chosen by the invader. Camps are placedâŚthe thinking on âedifice as campâ was, however, that an edifice (which is a Bad Going terrain item) could only be âconvertedâ into a camp if it met the camp placement criteria (including being on the armyâs rear edge inside deployment zone), and that an item larger than a standard camp wasnât eligible for conversion. Otherwise an extra terrain item had magically appeared in a place of the playerâs choosing.
Many of us still use edifice-style camps, but they are camps and no more than that (so if sacked cease to exist, effectively).
(Edifice as camp was something of an afterthought, and not âplay-testedâ much if at all)

Many of us still use edifice-style camps, but they are camps and no more than that (so if sacked cease to exist, effectively). (Edifice as camp was something of an afterthought, and not âplay-testedâ much if at all) And basically it all came about because someone sought to test the definition of 'a camp being a temporary structure' and raising the issue of those of us that use edifice style camps just as camps. Whiskey Tango Alpha Foxtrot - instead of just leaving be and allowing such a thing to continue (I mean in geological terms even a pyramid is a temporary structure) a whole set of newly minted (but not properly playtested) rules were put in so that IF player A put down their edifice camp and player B tried to deny its use because it was not 'temporary' this whole debacle made its way into the text (lol given the author's usual obsession with word count). It hadn't been an issue before DBA3 and I'm with Martin - I still use Edifice style camps just as camps - so it isn't an issue now. Cheers
