All problems for close combat are solvable, if we accept the following sentence as that what it says: the general principle.
"The general principle is that troops that would contact in real life would do so in the game so that moving the front edge into contact with enemys always results in combat." (p. 11) I.e. every situation should be solved, by making combat possible. A simple and very workable principle.
Example 1, the Blade will shift to be in combat. Example 2, the Blade will also shift to be in contact. (It is no mevemnet so not forbidden by the TZ.)
