Colin was CORRECT….the dreaded Zanj were even more awesome than I thought (the results sheet for round 4 was found to have had the armies reversed…round 4 was a ‘use your opponent’s army’ round, so Simon W won with Zanj , not Dacians, as I had recorded).

So best armies were indeed the dreaded Zanj.
Neo-Elamite and then Dacian with Sarmatian Ally were best of the rest.
