Taking a break from painting figures to refurbish some terrain pieces.
I picked up a couple of hills for the exorbitant price of $5.00. The problem with them was that were injected plastic hills will a very crappie paint finish. So I based them on 3mm MDF, put down a much better painted finish and completed them by applying flocking of various grades and colours.
Inspired by Tony Aguilar's Mk III woods I'm in the process of upgrading some of my Wd bases. So far I've revitalised the bases with texture and paint. Next up is applying Woodland Scenics Clumping Foliage.
Once completed I will post images on the 2 FB DBA pages.
Cheers,

That's surely time well spent, Gregorious. Looking forward to seeing the pics, which will likely inspire me to do likewise.
Tony: As for your "Mk. III Woods", where are details or pics of these? In one of your videos, presumably? If you could kindly point me in the right direction, please? I'd like to see them.

And I'll also provide a link as well. With regards to Tony's Mk. III woods, he did do a YouTube video detailing his technique. Cheers,

Working on a couple of "Ploughed Fields" for my Asian armies, and they'll be depicted as rice paddies. They can also double as "Enclosures". Once they are finished I'll post images on the 2 FB DBA pages.

Greg, Thanks for posting this to the DBA/HOTT page. Were the gun emplacements used for Flames of War? Hi Robert, No idea what the provenance of the emplacements are. I picked them up for $5.00 per packet and there were no markings as to manufacturer. Cheers,

As I await to collect my Khurusan figures in about 2 weeks I've been a bit industrious in adding to my terrain collection. I've constructed, painted and based a segment of an amphitheatre that could be used as a camp from Roman times through to the early medieval period. I've almost completed a piece that could act as either a hamlet (BUA) or enclosed fields (E). Once the 2nd piece is finished I'll post images on the 2 FB DBA pages.
