I understand that there is a serious suggestion that the Turkey should be the bird for the USA and not the Bald-Headed Eagle.

I understand that there is a serious suggestion that the Turkey should be the bird for the USA and not the Bald-Headed Eagle. Insofar as I am aware that Benjamin Franklin idea never caught on. On the other hand some of our politicians may have resembled (or acted like) turkeys over the years...

If things get too rough for our American cousins I am sure her Majesty would be more than happy to re-instate you as a colony.
We can put all that independence unpleasantness behind us and this time to show good will you can have a representative present when we levy the taxes.

Thank you for the warm sentiments !
Meself, thankful to still be plodding along, in my seventieth year.
Was operated on, earlier this month, to remove cataract in right eye. Seems to have been very successful, am thankful for that. One to remove cataract in left eye scheduled for this Thursday. Mayhaps will post 'before and after' photos of my painting, wonder if anyone will notice difference.
Lawyer friend sez the replacement lenses make me officially a cyborg, and entitle me to host (after the epidemic) my own 'Party Of The First Part'
Regardless, I hope you are all healthy and happy, and will stay that way thru 2021 !

Best of luck with your operation. The downside of having clear vision in both eyes is that you can see exactly what your painting was! Just hope you don't need to do re-painting!
