Hi All
After a tough day at work I had TV on in background showing old episodes of the original Battlestar Gallactica. I was a huge fan as a kid and still love it now.
It still amazes me that the cylon race hates and despises humans so much that they create humanoid robots to kill us. They could just make ships that fly themselves etc.
Episode I saw had cylons wading through water with guns in the air as you wouldn't want em to rust, not like your legs or anything They had crates of medical supplies with red crosses on presumably full of oil and de icer.
Fave A Team ever where Face walks past a cylon on a film set.
Ahhhh happier days

Love the movie and pre-1980 TV series! Odds are they went with humanoid cylons, as it was cheaper and easier to get actors to play them One of my regrets about the show, is that when I was a kid, if you had an "x" number of comic book serial codes cut out and some money, you could order a replica Colonial warrior jacket! I did not order it, but often wondered about it.

Myself I always fancied Lady Penelope from "Thunderbirds". Didn't work out though. She was looking for a no strings attached relationship!

Time for an old joke from an old codger:-
“Parker, take off my hat.” ”Yes M’lady.” “And Parker, take off my shoes.” ”Yes M’lady.” “And Parker, take off my clothes.” ”Yes M’lady.” “...and Parker, never let me catch you wearing them again!”

That Lady Penelope always seemed on edge to me. Very highly strung!

I was remembering the puppet version. They all walked around about 2 inches off the ground with their hands going up and down!
