I need to write Essex about this I suppose, but am curious as to why there are so few 15mm foot knights, and/or men at arms on foot, for the late Hundred Years Wars thru the Early Renaissance periods (1490 - 1530 for the latter), especially since we know in the HYW at least, most knights and MAA chose to fight on foot, in order to keep their horses from being shot out from under them?
I get perhaps the Ren. gendarmes issue, though it would be nice if there were some on foot with cut down lances, swords, maces, hammers, and pole arms for castle sieges, etc.. Similarly, there don't appear to be many for the Wars of the Roses, in which the MAA/knights, fought predominantly on foot as well.
I know that Essex do one plated knight pack of guys carrying just maces, and I think I've seen one of a mixed pack with a few different weapons (swords, etc.), but that's it. I think it would be nice to have more options, with a wider selection of weapons, and more pose variety.
Are there any other manufacturers making foot knights/MAA, preferably in dynamic combat poses, that are compatible with the Essex range, from Agincourt through 1530, for the Italian Wars?
Similar figs for Crecy and Poitiers would be nice too. I'm interested in the HYW, Burgundian Wars, French Ordonnance, Germans, Italians, Spanish, and Wars of the Roses.
While we're on the topic, I do also wonder why there's only one Venexia armored horse leg pose for their 15mm Italian Wars figures?
Does anyone else make an armored horse, or horses compatible in size and style with their riders, so they can be swapped out, for a little more unit pose variety?

as far as foot knights and MAA I used Khurasan, Corvus Belli and Old Glory for my HYW all going pretty well with my Essex figures

Magister Militum makes a very small range of medieval 15mm foot comprising one pack of halberdiers and one of dismounted knights and a couple of packs of bow. All the packs have a variety of poses and they are compatible height-wise with Essex. From memory the product code for the halberdiers is YLT2.

In answer to your first question, I suspect it will be a purely economic/business decision, as every extra pack means extra development, production and stock maintenance costs. Manufacturers have to decide whether it's worth doing lots of extra figures, particularly variants on a theme, i.e. will they sell enough of the extra figures to justify the expense. It's why command figures cost more per figure than other cav/inf, as they obviously aren't going to sell as many of those packs than others.
