Over the weekend I managed to win an auction on ebay at a very reasonable cost and now find myself the proud owner of 150+ World War two 15mm Infantry figures (German and British) with a variety of weapons.
I do wargame WW2 but only air wargames "Blood Red Skies" and "Wild Blue Yonder".
I have some notion floating about in my fevered brain to use them for company level actions and skirmishes.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to a good set of rules to use with them?
Any help gratefully received!

Chain of command by two fat lardies. Based around a platoon and you use about 40 figs a side.
It is a great game, I also like the Battlegroup rule set which uses about the same number of figs.
I play both in 15mm and 28mm.

I second what Baldie says, maybe Crossfire, and modified FOW, which is what I do

Fireball forward is also a good company level game.

For 15mm WW2 there is really only one set of rules that does it for me and that is Battlefront from the Fire and Fury team. www.fireandfury.com/battlefrontmain.shtmlI’ve been playing it for years and reckon that it is the closest to simulating real command in WW2 that you can get on a table...after all it was developed with the US military. No gimmicks, proper historical accuracy and real tactical lessons to learn. Plus it has a really good and active forum and lots of player contributed scenarios to peruse. www.fireandfury.com/phorum5/list.php?2One word of caution- don’t use these rules if you think Sherman’s are a match for Tigers or if you like seeing on-board artillery....as I said they are historically accurate!

Played a great Pacific Theatre game using these rules back at Historicon a few years back. Aussies vs Japanese. Very fun game, and interesting stat cards.

I'm a bit late but much like Baldie I would recommend both Chain of Command by Too Fat Lardies (excellent Platoon-level system, infantry-focused, Command and Control driven, some very interesting ideas) and, for a different approach, Battlegroup by Iron Fist Publishing (a more classical ruleset, scales well from Platoon to Company and above, lots of room for support and specialist assets). Both are 1:1 scale (one mini - one soldier, individual casualties).

Blitzkrieg Commander 4 is an enjoyable set of rules.
