Good stuff. Very clever to have the battlefield and unit bases identical, so how did you manage that?

Good stuff. Very clever to have the battlefield and unit bases identical, so how did you manage that? I purchased a roll of grass matting of the type used by railway modelers. I used that to cover my boards to make the battle field. The matting actually also doubles as a hinge so the boards and be folded for storage. I then cut the unit bases 40mmx20mm out of fairly thin balsa wood. I had plenty of the grass matting left so I stuck the balsa bases to the back of the matting. When dry I cut the bases out, trimmed them and painted the edges brown. Then mounted the troops.
