Folks,
Disappointing news this morning for Aussie and Kiwi DBA players (and gamers in general). CanCon 2021 has been cancelled, as per the Canberra Games Society website:
CanCon is Australia's large games convention, and has been running continuously since 1978. Its not only 3 days of gaming and shopping, but a great social event, catching up with people you played with and against over the years. Some of whom you only see at CanCon itself.
So Covid claims another event. <sigh>
Roll on 2022.

Sad news indeed Pete. I will hold a minutes silence for the first break in Cancon in 42 years and my first break in attendance in 38 years. So it goes. I guess that means Mark can claim to hold the Magister Militum per Capitoline Territorialis clear through to 21/22  So it's an ill wind and all that. Meantime I need to investigate the viability of Landwaster for November. At least at this stage we can say <engage Bogart Voice Mode> --> "We'll always have MOAB" <end Bogart Voice Mode> Cheers |
