Four registrations so far. That's a good start. And David, did watch the clock to see 0.01 am come round? Cheers, Greg,
I sat up on Friday night to jump in at 0:01 AM but whilst doing so was watching series 2 of 'The Punisher' and painting minis to pass the time.
I missed the deadline by about 4 minutes because I was sooo close to finishing a third element.
System seemed jammed up - the first link gave a database error so I went back to first principles - searched up the MOAB homepage on Google then went in through there. It seemed to be a slow process between each step but clearly based on the time I logged to say I was registered that time was moving more quickly than it felt.
Cheers

I've just been advised by the MOAB Organising Committee that DBA has been capped at 14 players. Though this could increase as it gets closer to the event. Presently there are 12 players registered, leaving 2 slots open. Once these 2 slots are filled any additional registrations will form a waiting list and if additional spots become available will be added to registered players. So, get in quick if you want to ger one of the remaining two guaranteed players spots.
Cheers,

I've been doing some opposition research, looking for eligible armies that have artillery. Any hints, Macbeth? I am a little confused by your research Chaotic. Are you looking for an army with at least 4 Warband AND Artillery?
I am toying with the idea of an army with at least 4 Warband AND multiple Bow. I am not sure it would work out, but hey it could be fun!
And yes, I am registered for both days. I need all the beauty sleep I can get, so I didn't sit up until 00:01am, opting to register first thing when I arose later that morning.

Does such a list exist, Pete?

I was referring to Macbeth's predilection for armies with a significant artillery component. As far as I can determine, there is only one: IV/37a Malay or Sumatran. It also has two elephants and a couple of fast bow. In view of Macbeth's recent success with these troops, I suspect it might be a hot favourite!

I've been trying to locate the document I used to have with all the eligible armies, as I sent that back to Greg with the ones I can supply highlighted.
Sadly I can't find it anywhere.
If you want Wb and Bw and Art then it has to be the Malay or Sumatrans IV/37a OR you could see if the Ancient Britons with Early Imperial Roman Allies are acceptable - you won't get any Bw but you can fold out three elements (lets face it how many LCh does anyone really need ) and then put in 1xCv or 4Bd (gen), 1x4Bd and 1xArt as EIR backing up the Brigantes.
Cheers

At this stage I may well be running my Pre Feudal Scots. They remain a personal favourite, despite being next to useless in DBA - but at least their mainstay infantry aren't classed as Ax the way they were in DBM No Promises though. I also have my large stable of troops ranging from Libya to Prussia in the Wb stakes. Cheers

A while ago I checked with Greg about allies because I was keen to use my Dacians, with Sarmatian allies. Unfortunately allies are prohibited.

'I am toying with the idea of an army with at least 4 Warband AND multiple Bow' Does such a list exist, Pete? Check out IV/29 Tupi
I was actually considering these guys, but my glacial painting style does not gel well with my current work hours, so I'm going an army I already have underway. Khurusan do some rather nice Tupi minis.

'I am toying with the idea of an army with at least 4 Warband AND multiple Bow' Does such a list exist, Pete? At the risk of revealing my hand I was looking at II/72 - the Alamanni and Suevi sublists.
But Macbeth's suggestion of the II/4a Chin looks far more potent.

But Macbeth's suggestion of the II/4a Chin looks far more potent. I'm tossing up between: a. II/4a Ch'in, where I only need to paint up four more elements to add to the 'terracotta warriors' themed mob that I brought to CANCON, or b. some flavour of early Germans, where at least I've got the minis cleaned up and undercoated.
