you get 48 figures for $18. That is about 38 cents? Add postage and you get maybe 40 cents. Painted, so cut from sprue, base and play. How much for a 18mm figures these days, plus painting. Cheaper if you paint your self but so much time.
They do not make DBA armies but I already wrote and made the suggestion. If others did also we might get them.
Thanks Bob. Well, I like them. Pity I have the Ancients available so far but these would work well for a travel set so I may get some. Also looking at Napoleonic/ACW/AmRev DBA variants and these work well to get the rules finessed. It's anazing how much steam you lose on a project waiting for painted armies.
These look to be very interesting. As some of you know I have 3 x DBA Armies made up from Peter Dennis' "Battle for Britain" figures. Norman, Anglo Saxon and Viking. These being flat paper figures drawn and coloured to a very high standard. My Three armies set me back about £12 plus ink and paper to print.
These figures look alot more durable. I could be tempted here!
