This is one for fellow slaves to authenticity. I'm looking to update my Scots Common Army. Current army composed of Essex prepackaged IV/16 army. I'm looking for more period correct models for the First and Second Wars of Scottish Independence. Recent years have seen the production of some beautiful models in 28mm by Claymore Castings and Antediluvian Miniatures. Does anyone make something near as nice in 15mm?

Those are beautiful 28mm figures. Do you have anything specifically that you are looking for in your Scots army? I have done some work on this in bringing back the Thistle & Rose figure line. We have some very nice Scots. We also have Scots in the Feudal Castings line. I haven't compared either of them to the Essex, but I did look at some of the Claymore Castings (even bought some of their Scots) so I could probablhy give you more info on that.

Ribaulds, pikemen and axemen in particular. For the line troopers: long quilted gambesons, iron caps or chapeu de fers and for all the troops handy axes tucked into their belts.

Looks like all of the formerly Claymore Scots have moved to Antediluvian. Let me work on this a bit next week and maybe get some pictuers together. In short, our figures are very much in line at 15mm with the Antedeluvian figures. And we also have the rude Scot.

Looks like Claymore and Antedeluvian are related companies.

I took another look at the Feudal Casting Scots over at Scale Creep and I do like the figures.
Not sure who else, other than Essex, has a good line.
