Just been browsing the Donnington site and found that they have a new (well new to me anyway) and very comprehensive range of Islamic army figures in 15mm. Haven't seen them 'in the flesh' so to speak but there are pics of every code and they do look very nice. Also saw that, in their camps range they do a Zoroastrian fire temple which, despite it's name, looks like it would be just right for a camp or BUA or edifice for several armies from the near east/middle east.

Got a whole host of them to mix in with Forged in Battle, Old Glory & Essex minis to make up the armies needed for the Northern Cup 2024 theme and I'm pumped for this lot - some superb figures in there...

Just got a few of each out to check and I would say 'Yes, they are'. P.

Paul,
Good to know as I would like to add horse archers to the Arab collection and add new command elements.

I bought a bunch of Donnington "New Era" 15s to represent 9th century AD Bulgars, and I consider them to be very compatible with both Essex and Old Glory. One nice feature is you can pick horses separately from the human riders.

A good range IMO, I've been using them for a couple of years now as my default Muslim figures choice.
