Has any body sliced up LBM decals to put on ranges they were not designed to 'fit'.
Obviously, you wouldn't would you?
But just in case anybody has, how did it go?
Thinking it should be sort of easy to cut around the part of the decal I want and fit it to the shields that I have, But I don't want to fork out £14 if its going to be an utter nightmare!
It's Romans (sort of...)
And VVV are out of the question.
Cheers

LBM Xyston decals adorn my Magister Militum Hoplites, Hypaspists and others. Only problem is where shield curvature causes the edges of the shield to ruck up but a few we’ll placed cuts deal with that. However, no slicing up - a round Hoplon is a round Hoplon.
That said - I did slice up a large Roman sheild decal to to use a boar design on the round Velite shields. I even overpainted the decal where the slicing lost detail that I wanted to recover. No snags!
