Interesting. Let's see what quality and level of detail they manage to pull off.

Wow, I had no idea that there were 15mm plastic miniatures out there.
I just assumed they were all metal.

Yes very Nice looking figures. I would try an army. The current packs come 64 foot and 32 mounted for 32pounds sterling. Perhaps someone will split a box with me, once we find out what is inside. Now to convince the company to make smaller DBA packs. These are for Mortem et Gloriam which must use large armies.

These are for Mortem et Gloriam which must use large armies. From what i've been told MeG has 3 sizes of games , which are roughly similar to DBMM , 500 pts , 240 pts and 100 pts .

Wow, I had no idea that there were 15mm plastic miniatures out there. But how will they perform? Y'know...being plastic and all. (Winks n' grins.)

Both sets of plastics do indeed look very nice!
However, with Goths from Minifigs, OG15, Donnington, TTG, Chariot, and Essex I am not very likely to run out and invest in more.
Pretty much the same with Huns and Romans.
I am also not terribly keen on having to get a pre-packaged mix of troopers and command - over the years with picking up lots second hand I see a disproportion of command figures.
On the other hand the Chalons set might make a gift for the nephew...

Not really keen in having to buy in large numbers. If you have to buy pre-packaged armies that may or may not bear any relation to the army lists used by the rules that you intend to use it can more than offset lower prices per figure. I have many more Donnington (who sell by the individual figure) figures than I have figures from Lancashire Games, for instance.

Also they are going to do Corvus Belli 15mm Ancients and Medieval in plastic! Gawd I miss Corvus Belli. Their figs are just fantastic. Such as shame they went under. Yes I know they got bought by another company, but the only figs they have re-released are the imperial romans.. Good to know that PSC is doing ancients now though. I'm a big fan of their WW2 ranges.
