Anyone aware of a supplier who does pill shaped cavalry bases in metal.
Want some for my 28mm SAGA force.

Precision Wargames Supplies will do bespoke orders if you ask - not sure if that extends to “pill” shaped bases or not.

Ta sent em a message, guess there will be a significant amount of waste so additional cost. Could just stick a rectangle of metal under a wooden pill base. After ruining another army in a storage related incident I am determined to do some magnetic basing for a change. |

Gues you have considered just adding adhesive magnetic/steel base to a Warbases 50 x 25 mm oval base? Simon |

Baldie - magnetic bases are definitely the way ahead. After the last PAWS I dropped a 4 liter “Really useful box” full of 300+ figures all on steel bases and magnabased. It fell from a worktop onto a concrete floor. Total casualties - a few broken spears that I needed to replace with pins anyway - everything else just needed a little bending back into shape.
