"Hi
Although I cannot find the official announcement, it seems that all user
content - files, photos etc - on Yahoo groups will be deleted on 14th
December. This effectively kills Yahoo groups for general use including
old documents and guides. If you are on any of the old groups, I suggest
you have a look and grab anything you want to keep ASAP."
**We have heaps of pics from UK DBA and Hott tournaments on Yahoo....might be a time to salvage a few before they disappear??**

I’ve been adding albums for a decade or so, after most tournaments I’ve attended. It was always a useful record of what happened, so if I needed to check who was podium at an event there would usually be a pic. Picking out photo’s I want to save will be tough (and time consuming....). There’s also all the files people have stored there....variants etc, useful stuff.

Yep, I will be posting about the Solo DBA Development group shortly in the relevant section of this forum.
Edit: Where are the people posting "Don't call me 'Shortly'" when you need them?

About using Table-Top-Tournament for record and register Tournament and Player in our DBA world : Should the player and organiser should be interested by the following : - In France, we use the website Table Top Tournament to record result of tournament, but also to manage registration and announcement about organised play... this tools was developped first at Braunschweig in Germany to help to simplify tournament organization. as the tool has so appealed to other clubs that it has quickly become a reference in Germany. as since there is the establishment of multilingual management. (display with depend of your country internet provider i think) www.tabletoptournaments.net/fr/aboutwww.tabletoptournaments.net/eu/overview- The website is for all miniature game you want. for the page dedicated to DBA, it's here : www.tabletoptournaments.net/game/De-Bellis-AntiquitatisIn the links (Liens, right column of the screen), you shoul see a list of tournament (past and futur), see the rank of the players (choosing the countries from where they come in the left column by clicking on T3-International), record your tournament... I think it could be interesting for all of us, even in US or Australia (for exemple !) to use this interesting tools. For organise a tournament, record is free up to 18 players. For more, you have to pay to become premium but it's only 30 € for a year (around 36 UDS or 25 GBP). - List of tournament : www.tabletoptournaments.net/overview- List of European players (including rank, number of tournament played...) : www.tabletoptournaments.net/t3_etr_show.php?gid=24- All the game rules using this tool : www.tabletoptournaments.net/games- This link is in english and explain condition for use the website : www.tabletoptournaments.net/fr/terms

Having “migrated” two other lists I have been impressed with the groups.io platform. I have therefore today set up a DBA Mailing List on the groups.io platform. The platform differs considerably from this excellent forum and to Facebook. It is in my view complimentary. If you wish to join you can join by visiting the URL: groups.io/g/DBAListAlternatively the email subscription options, and those for posting by email are: Subscribe: DBAList+subscribe@groups.io Remember to join you must subscribe manually and no files photos or discussions will be moved over automatically from the old Yahoo Mailing List platform.

Joined. Please switch on the RSS feed for this group. It's far easier to use than email. Thanks.

The group has been set up as private, which means that messages are only visible to subscribers. I believe that RSS requires it to be public.
