I dont get it. Why should anyone use Water Lurkers in D3H2? "Normal" Lurkers can be put into every bad going, Water Lurkers only in Water features. I am even not sure, why use Lurkers at all. "Normal" Psiloi can leave a bad going and they can use their thread zone to stop enemy elements, Lurker can only be brought into a terrain peace, if there is an element in it.

I don't get it. Why should anyone use Water Lurkers...? Two reasons: Cuz they look cool, and they fit, thematically, with the army. For example, my "Ogopogo Tribe" HOTT army, which is VERY loosely based on historical, First Nations tribes in the Okanagan Lake area of British Columbia, Canada, has just gotta have an "Ogopogo" Water Lurker. ( Ogopogo is the legendary sea monster of Okanagan Lake, akin to Scotland's "Nessie".)

Oh, and you could, if you wished, “House Rule” HoTT so that Water Lurkers appear in more locations by saying that any Waterway or River that touches a Wood turns it into a Swamp (like the rivers and streams that channel their way through mangrove swamps). So that Woods, plus Oasis and Marshes, become suitable for both Land and Water Lurkers. (See fanaticus-dba.fandom.com/wiki/File:DETAILED_CRIB_SHEETS_for_HOTT_2.1.pdf for details)

Thanks for the answers. Love the water dragon!
I fully understand the fun argument. We will play a Hott-Campaign, so winning isnt fully out of my mind. ;-) In D3H2 you can use a Lurker as a normal psiloi, if no correct terrain is available. (Would look a bit silly with your water dragon.)
