I was looking at armies to use in game day of armies and enemies of late imperial Rome. One army listed as enemy was western Patrician Roman II/82. This army does not, however, include later imperial — II/78 — As enemy. I have known Allies that were not reciprocal, But how was it possible for enemies to not be reciprocal? Is this an error or do people think or was there something behind it? They only overlap in one year 408. Notice below that late Roman have __II/82__ as an enemy; but II/80a does not have the late Roman as an enemy.
II/78a Western Roman Army: Terrain Type: Arable. Aggression: 1. Enemies: II/54a, II/57, II/58, II/64a, II/64b, II/65b, II/65c, II/66, II/67a, II/67b, II/68a, II/70a, II/72a. II/72b, II/72c, II/72d, II/73, II/78a, II/78b, II/80d, __II/82a__. Allies: II/57 or II/72d.
II/82a Western Patrician Roman Army: Terrain Type: Arable. Aggression: 0. Enemies: II/66, II/67b, II/71, II/72b, II/72c, II/72d, II/73, II/80a, II/80d, II/82a, II/83a, II/84, III/17. Allies: II/40 or II/58 or II/70 or II/72 or II/73 or II/80d or II/81a or II/81c or II/82b or II/83a.

Hi Bob, whilst I am in no way suggesting an error was made In the transition from DBA2 to DBA3 the starting date of either the Patrician Roman or the Later Visigothic was changed subsequently the two switched places in the list order There is a smattering of cases where the opponents are out because of this Cheers

Actually, Timurilank and I did include this in the “ Army List Corrections” booklet. ( which, for those who are not aware of it, can be found here:-fanaticus-dba.fandom.com/wiki/File:Army_List_Corrections_for_DBA_3.0.pdf ) Items in blue are simple mutual-enemy errors or date-mismatches, which players can check for themselves. Items in red are historical inclusion or omission errors, with a note to explain the reason for the change.II/78a Western Late Romans (307 AD – 408 AD) ...no changes, as everything is correct.
II/78b Eastern Late Romans (307 AD – 408 AD) Allies: II/23a, II/28c, II/65b. Enemies: II/26, II/28c, II/52, II/55b, II/58, II/65a, II/65b, II/65c, II/67b, II/69a, II/69b, II/70b, II/72a, II/78a, II/80d.
II/82a Western Patrician Romans (408 AD – 493 AD) Enemies: II/65c, II/66, II/67b, II/71, II/72b, II/72c, II/72d, II/73, II/78a, II/80a, II/80d, II/82a, II/83a, II/84, III/17. Allies: II/40, II/57, II/58, II/70, II/70a, II/72, II/72d, II/73, II/80d, II/81a, II/81c (Armoricans), II/82b, II/83a. (The conflict between the Western Patrician Romans and Alaric, who sacked Rome in 410 AD, has been missed out)
II/82b Eastern Patrician Romans (408 AD – 493 AD) Allies: II/23a, II/67b. Enemies: II/67b, II/69b, II/69c, II/71, II/80a, II/80b, II/80d, II/83a, II/83b, II/84, III/1c, III/17. (Armies II/82 and II/83 switching places between DBA 2.2 and DBA 3.0 has caused many enemies to be wrong)Some Helpful Downloads can be found here: fanaticus-dba.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Reference_sheets_and_epitomes And here is the latest Jan 2019 FAQ: fanaticus-dba.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ_2019_1st_Quarter
