Finally got some. First, this new design process ought to pay dividends for the company, with one or two little niggles they are really quite good. The Elephant is superb and the men and horses are better than what we have had from Museum in the past. I know one or two eyebrows have already been raised about the arms and equipment and to be honest I was not aware of Indian 'extra-heavy' cavalry in this period. But then again I dont have to buy any. Size wise they are quite compatible with Xyston. the shields are much better and the swords are the right size and shape. My only real gripe is that the weapons are 'over-sculpted' the spear heads and the bamboo shafts were too prominent- I replaced all mine with wire. The sculpting method means that some detail is shallow by comparison too - they dont have the same facial character as Xyston. And of course the range is currently incomplete.
But the elephant is bloody good indeed.
As they get better with the software and the resulting detail on the castings, this could take figure design in a whole new direction, though in my heart I still like the idea that my little men started life as milliput and green stuff wrapped around some wire.
worth a good look in my opinion.
(and that elephant...)

Size wise they are quite compatible with Xyston... I appreciate the comparison, but, since Xyston's ranges vary in scale from reasonably comparable with Essex to being the poster-boys of scale-creep, it still leaves a question-mark in my mind as to their size. Can you measure a few of the foot figures, toe-to-eyeball, and report back? Thanks!

Ohh cripes! now you are asking. My first response is that they are pretty much the same size as Xyston Indians, though probably not suitaBLE for mixing on the same base. I will try to remember to get me ruler out leter this week.
That elephant is bloody nice. Just thought I would mention that
