Another of my armies joins the ranks of the Purple compliant. I finished off the element of 4Bw required to bring my II/78b Late Imperial Roman (East) up to code. Over 30 years ago my wargames mentor presented me with a Late Imperial Roman army for WRG6th Edition made from leftover figures around his place. Over the years this army has been underutilised but I have been divvying it up to make up the four final Roman armies (Late Imperial East and West, Patsy Roman East and West). Three of the four are now complete and ready for use under DBA3. There is a lot more work to get the Patsy Roman East working. Still - this is 60 of my armies up to code now cheers

Those 6mm scale Timecast models are extremely useful, aren't they? I have that 'Saxon/Dark Age' set plus their roundhouse /Celtic set too, and they paint up well. And as Robert commented, the greenery looks very realistic. Martin

Today's effort saw my Sassanids (the b list) get the additional element of 4Ax completed. I only need to do the LH and this army is up to code.
I have set aside the figs for the c list Sassanids and will need to start with whatever is not an overlap with the b list as I made up the Sassanids for a rise of Islam project.
Cheers

Today a second element of Kn for my Scots Common was completed. I was close to dusting off the Scots Common 3Bw and Mtd-3Bw and also some 3Ax and 4Ax for my Cham but sadly lunch had to end.
Cheers

The Cham have just received another 4Ax and 3Ax.
I am on the home stretch for both the Cham and the Scots Common. The last strips of figures are in the undercoated tray. Time to blow the dust off two more armies buried in the lead mines of Mt Neverpaint. Probably Yi Dynasty Korean and Ming Chinese
Cheers

I have just started on my Outpost Khmer and my early Polish arrived yesterday from Irregular Miniatures and so are next in the queue. Simon Enjoy the Outpost Khmer Simon - I like the figures and enjoyed creating the army. I found that the Irregular Khmer mix in well with them, I had to add a couple of elements to my Khmer to bring it up to code and as Irregular has a distributor here in Oz it was easier to order them.
Today's effort was to finish off the mounted component of some Samurai 6Cv. In order to bring my Early Samurai into purple compliance I still need to finish off 3x6Cv and 5x3Cv - when that is done I will need to find a much bigger tin to keep them in too.
Cheers

Feudal East Frankish army 888-1106 AD (DBA 3.0 III/53), made by Baueda. Very well miniatures, unlike their Roma. I paint to order.
