Today these figures were flocked and tufted. While I'm waiting for the figures to arrive from Khurusan I'll concentrate on completing my Ancient British army by working on 3xLCh. Cheers, So the figures have arrived from Khurusan and I've started off by filling the 2 gaps in the English HYW army, the 3Pk and Sp elements. Today I completed the 3Pk element using the Khurusan Welsh knifemen figures. Later in the week I'm hoping to get to the Sp figures. Once they are done I'll goop, flock and tuft both elements. Cheers, I've completed the 4 Sp figures for the HYW English, based and gooped the 3Pk and Sp elements. Tomorrow will see them flocked and tufted. I have also begun work on the French with the 3Bd and Ps figures cleaned up, glued to painting nails and primed. I might be able to begin applying colour tomorrow. Cheers,

Painting up another Kushite cav. which will bring me to 25 stands for them. I have been avoiding starting to paint the Midianites, and not sure why, perhaps the camels are freaking me out, because the rest of the army is pretty straight forward.

I've had a long holiday from the painting desk, two weekends away with family and then a minor injury last Friday.
I snuck in some brush strokes and basing on Sunday - aside from basing up all the elements finished prior to the time away I managed to get in 2x3Ax completed from my I/8a Saba/Makkan
Cheers

Title should probably more accurately be titled "Who's provarocating about painting what"
List is Pikes still on the go 6mm Russian buildings for DBN and most likely Northag More 6mm Naps, plan to only do these next year to try to plough through em
However after a great day playing HoTT I have started work on two forces with a third planned despite only playing the game once or twice a year.
Trying not to think about the Vikings and Irish on the way for SAGA.

Just a few stands more and my revamped Gallic army will be ready, then the Marian/Ceasarian Romans will get their turn at a renovation. Once I have enough finished I should do a blog update...

Tomorrow I'll glue them to their base and start the basing technique for all 5 elements. Cheers,

Just based the sixth and final element of 4Ax for my Thracian army, which probably completes my painting for 2021.
Four 15mm armies, one from each book (although that is purely a matter of chance); Xyston Thracians (I/48), Forged in Battle Caledonians (II/60), Baueda and Khurasan Vikings (III/40b) and Mirliton Early Swiss (IV/41).
