The Spanish Napoleonic figures are done which complete the vanguard, 1st and 2nd division of Del Parque’s Army that fought during the Alba de Tormes campaign of 1809.
These are all XAN miniatures of Spain, excellent castings and recommended for anyone thinking of collection an army for the Peninsular War.

I started my Rajput army roughly three years ago and it was initially an opponnent for my Ghaznavids. But then I morphed the army to cover Hindu Indian and somehow it gathered pace and expanded to such a degree it became three separate armies(Tamil,Hindu & Rajput)in their own right.Today I've completed my pre-1300 Hindus which means I've completed the Tamils and need only to do some Tibetan allies(3xSp & 3x4Kn),an Elephant,Rocket artillery, plus 2 Cavalry elements to complete the Hindu post-1300 army.
I know it's by default I've completed two armies this year....I usually can manage one army per year.Maybe after seeing a Spinal surgeon this week I can complete more.🤞

That’s really good going Haardrada! Keep it up! Thanks Paddy, your paint rate has also shamed/encouraged me into action.lol I won't claim the Hindus are done yet as I have later era elements to complete, otherwise that would be three armies completed this year.Hopefully the Tibetans will be undercoated in the morning.

Today I completed the chariots for the Ancient British. Tomorrow I'll assemble them, i.e. gluing the wheels to the axles, prepare the 4 40mmx40mm bases, and hopefully paint up the crew. Cheers, These 4xLCh are finally completed, based and tufted. I'll take some images today or tomorrow and post them to the 2 FB DBA pages. Cheers, Images of the 4xLCh are up on the 2 FB DBA pages. Here's a link to the public access DBA FB page, www.facebook.com/groups/dba.hott.wargaming/permalink/10158185592766821/Cheers,

There were a few roadblocks to painting over the weekend - cumulating on Sunday with an afternoon's purchase of computer equipment (my expectation was that I would do the set up next week while not working but Wf(X) and the elder of the (not so) little warbands had other ideas).
I did finish 1xSp (Garrison Spearmen) for the Tibetans and 1xLH for the Ottomans as well as completing the full basing of last weeks completions. There was a hiccup with the Tibetan spearmen where one broke at the ankles whilst being takin off his strip for basing. I found a compatible spare painted figure - and its not like I will be using this element much in battle.
The wood/flesh/metal is done for most of the new 8 strips which means that there is little to do for the final two element of the Akkadians and the penultimate strip for the Pre Vedic Indians. Ideally both will be done late this week.
I also need to prep the next batch of figure strips.
Cheers

My order from Baueda (It) arrived yesterday afternoon; 36 foot and 21 cavalry are cleaned and have an undercoat. This is one of two DBA3 III/28 army packs purchased and when completed, the Carolingians will fill the void between the Late Imperial Roman and West Frankish (Norman) collections.
My Saxons are planning a welcome party when the Carolingians are ready.
I must say, Claudio (Baueda) is very generous with extra figures and samples; I have an extra three elements per army pack.

In addition to the 15 elements advertised, Claudio sent extra javelinmen, spearmen and light horse figures in each army pack. I also received extra figures of the remastered peasants. Additional packs were purchased for dismounted milites and Vikings to build the III/40a sub-list, I have III/40b in the collection.

This weekend I was once again blocked from painting most days, the elder of the (not so) Little Warbands required my services as a coach for her volleyball team in a local competition. In the short gaps I completed
1x3Kn for the Ottomans 2x3Pk for the Akkadians and 2xSp and 1x4Bw for the Pre Vedic Indians
Both of the latter two armies are now complete.
That gives me 150 armies complete and purple compliant.
I only have three of my original stable to bring up to compliance Tibetans Later Hungarians Post Mongol Samurai
Cheers

A wet weekend on my own means a good time to focus on finishing the Three Kingdom Chinese army mash-up. The 2xWb, 1xWWg and 3x4Cb are all done and basing should be complete by tomorrow, with photos to follow.
Time to return to the 6mm Greek project 😁
