Additional: Just posted a couple of pics of my Rus on the FB page! Nice, even stripped trousers. BTW, there seems to be two DBA pages floating about – DBA (De Bellis Antiquitatis) and DBA & HOTT.

I have finally made a start on the Mirliton Early Swiss army pack I bought around the time v3 came out. The army with 9 x 6Bd.
I have painted the LH element and have just finished the first of the foot figures. One down, fifty-nine more to go.

A Big weekend painting saw 1x4Pk for the Low Countries (a list) which completes this army 2x3Ax and 1xPs for the Early Bedouin (a list) as well as a shaman for the Camp Followers 1xArt for the Northern Sung - one of the brilliant Khurusan models. The excess crew are now a furiously debating trio of civilian officials to be the camp followers
The long process of bringing my Tibetans up to code began - I soaked 10x4Kn and 2xCv off their old bases and stuck them to new ones - but left off the old general - he was an Essex Tang general - I now have an proper Tibetan Command element. The camp - a monastic tower - has been stuck to a base and the camp followers (Bactrian Camels and porters) are also being based.
Cheers

I'm starting work on an Ancient British army using FiB figures. First up are the single Ps element and the 7Hd element. For the solid Horde element I'll be using FiB's Druid pack.
Cheers,

DBN Russians Hussars Heavy Cav Cossacks Artillery Jagers Infantry Commander and Sub Commander Ten times more to do, then French Baldie, If you have not already seen it, I can recommend ‘1812’, a four-part Russian documentary of the French invasion of Russia. Many of the lesser known engagements are covered and brief biographical vignettes of key leaders are well done. English sub-titles. Star Media English 1812. Napoleonic Wars in Russia - Episode 1 www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l0j4_Xo-5M

Finished the Swedish cavalry (2 x 3Kn, 1 x Cv) for IV/53d and an extra command element (3Kn) to add some variety. Flags for the Scandinavian have been researched and sketched. Next step – is to paint them.
