I've got some Footsore Vikings and Picts now. I like the figures a lot. Good detail, very little flash to remove. The Picts look like hippies with sharp sticks!

On Friday night while waiting for the MOAB registration site to Go Live
I finished the following
1x3Kn for the East Frankish --> 2x3Kn from completion 1x4Bd for the scrap build Zanj Reveolt --> this army is done 1xCv for the Beja --> this army is now battle ready (I have completed the 12 element choice that I would field) and only needs 1xLH to be complete

Just finished the mounted elements for my latest African army, the Tuareg. Next up are the mountain tribesmen. I should have a brief write-up with photos posted to blog soon.

Painted and glued to bases 3 elements of OG15 FR4 Frankish archer PS and 6 of 3BW for the in progress BBDBA Franks.
In particular the Allemani. Will need to dig up some javelinmen to match the PS for the Purple list, but for the time being the archers will do and they are correct for the 'c' and 'd' lists.

Oh my, that's a tough one. I use a lot of different paints, and mix them liberally however, I think I can give you some answer. For the Burgundian blue I most recently have been using Citadel Kantor blue as a base. Typically, I wash it with either a mix of Kantor blue and black ( Delta Ceramcoat black most often) or wash in Citadel Nuln Oil wash. I will come back with the original Kantor blue, add in some Citadel Caledor Sky and finally mix in Delta Ceramcoat Chambray blue for highlights ( Citadel Fenrisian Gray is a perfectly good substitute.)
