While researching my Feudal Spanish and their religious orders, I noted that the Templars and Hospitallers both provided contingents during the Reconquista. As I already have several elements I decided to add some Hospitallers to the queue and prioritized them.
So, two elements of of KN painted and glued to bases. One using the Museum NC-17 knights as they had earlier harness with hooded cloaks to approximate the cappa clausa. Done in the original black and white.
The other using Essex MID-11s in the later red and white.

Still waiting for Forged in Battle's new War & Empire III Dark Ages armies to become available, post COVID. Painting some their Ancients in the meantime keeping my hand in: Saxon peasant foot and awaiting their Goth/Vandal Noble Heavy Cavalry. Cheers, A

I've started work on the Anglo-Normans for MOAB in October. I've undercoated in black 6 archers, 6 swordsmen 2 clergymen, including a bishop figure, and 2 musician figures. Some will be used for the CWg element, some for Ps and Bw elements and the remainder for a Bd element.
Cheers,

A productive day painting
Completing 1xPs, 1x3Bw, 1x3Ax and 1xCm for the Beja - I can now field a legal Beja army but still have more to go to finish
I also completed 1x3Wb and 1x3Bd for my Early Imperial Romans - adding one more army to the list of purple compliant.
Cheers

Just assembled and prepared two SS Panzer crew men for a friend of mine who is building a large kit of a WW2 Tiger Tank during the lock-down.
Not much painting required as their uniforms were entirely Matt black with silver insignia!

Just finished painting up the last of the 6mm sheep that I want to use for a hamlet / village.
My order from Essex arrived in the post today, and after spending a week painting 6mm figures, I am amazed at how huge the 15mm figures look!

The exact opposite happened to me when I went from 1/72 to 15mm: link

Currently painting: 8 x Medieval Cb 2 x 6 Germanic Kn Must have suddenly developed an interest in double based units!
Also on the painting tray is the free 28mm Caesar figure we were given at Hammerhead, the last couple of units for a HOTT WWI 10mm army and some 15mm Arab camp followers/horde.
I'm not good at choosing one unit and painting it through to a conclusion!
