I spoke to Martin (Goddard) at Cavalier last month. I know him from having previously cajoled him to make WW2 Germans in greatcoats - which he reports are still a strong seller.
He’d be very keen on DBA battle reports being included in the Mill and is not PP parochial - indeed quite the opposite. He wants the Mill to be pro-15mm which he quite rightly sees as gods own scale but which he observes is currently being being pushed aside by 28mm and other “boutique” Skirmish games.
He has a point. Could we ever see a DBA starter pack with 24 plastic elements, card terrain and a cut down ruleset like the evil empire does. Which Armies would the starter pack have in it? I suppose Romans vs Gauls would have to be favourite.

A fine magazine it is too. It makes me wish I had something half-way (even quarter-way) intelligent to contribute. You know, it occurs to me that the gentleman over at Peter Pig is also named Martin... Please do not let the lack of intelligent content stop you from contributing. If the reporters and journalists of Great Britain did likewise our tabloid newspapers would be empty!

Hi all The guys producing ‘The 15 Mill’ are currently asking for feedback, particularly on edition 1, but any feedback would be good.
If you’ve any comments at all, could you maybe post here and I’ll pass on the replies to those on the RFCM forum who are requesting it (I can disidentify it, if that helps).
Cheers

A good edition Martin, thanks for alerting me to it.
I enjoyed the DBA article and was impressed with many of the armies pictured all of which were very impressive. I particularly liked Henry Tudor & friends, partly as a result of having this army in my lead pile...

Those ‘Henry Tudor and Friends’ figures were Peter Pig, ably painted by none other than ‘mustrum’ from this very forum (Hi, Oli 😊). Did you read the earlier editions eg ed 1, which they were starting their debate about?

Did you read the earlier editions eg ed 1, which they were starting their debate about? I suspected they were Peter Pig figures. Nicely painted, based and with plenty of standards. That said all the armies were well presented. It is good to see a good selection of well presented armies. 15mm is too often associated with poorly presented armies. As to terrain I also liked the BUAs, all first class, for different reasons. As to previous issues I did read the earlier ones, but I am forgetful and may not have visited again so you post alerting us to the latest edition was useful.

I think that this is a great initiative. I particularly enjoyed viewing the various painted figures.
