The results of the tournament are.... 1st Place: Tom Thomas playing with a tough WOR army 2nd Place: Dave Cliffel playing Late Imperial Roman East army 3rd Place: Charlie Collins playing a Polybian Roman army
Bringing up last place were James Gentry and Joe Collins... Who managed to both lose Generals in a variety of novel and exciting ways... James with his DBE Kn General--- ouch... and Joe with the less devastating loss of his Cav General... multiple times. (I seem to remember some wisdom concerning not putting your general in the front line... or maybe I didn't remember that).
Anyway... 10 player tournament with Tom taking home a Norse_Irish Army from Essex Miniatures... and swearing off Longbow armies from now on in favor of all 4Ax armies!
Thanks to all for a fun afternoon.

Great event well run by Joe - it was nice to just throw dice and not worry about pairings or rulings.
Joe's brother Dan Collins fared much better in the Battle for the Iron Throne campaign that evening putting the Lannisters on the Throne (knocking out my son who started on the Throne and five other would be contenders). A great evening of Knights and Knaves (though not that great for my Starks).
I'll put some pictures out on the DBA/HOTT facebook page.
Great con, next year I my add my Hundred Years War in 200 minutes Battle for the Throne campaign so I can do a pure historical campaign.

Should mention what an honor it is to play an event in honor of Ron Seaney - great friend and gamer who helped play test my initial versions of Battle for the Throne campaigns. Sorely missed.
