Just put in a pre-order for this game on P500 page. It's a re-print and upgrade of Mark Herman's game released by Victory Games many years ago. It is a solitaire game. I have enjoyed it very much and look forward to seeing how it has been upgraded.
Cheers

I am a bit of an addict of Peloponesian war games and have to admit this is the easiest playing and most satisfying there is. Still, I don't like solo games. Have you played Pericles and how do you compare them?

I resisted Pericles but did buy Clash of Arms "The Epic of the Peloponnesian War". Never really got it on the table though. Not suited to Solitaire and couldn't convince anyone to give up an evening or two. You can play "The Peloponnesian War" with two players but it has a unique solitaire system, where it forces you to change sides if you do too well against the AI. This really keeps it interesting and adds to the attritional feel of the war.

Another interesting item available with the first edition was a historical summary coupled with a play-through showing how the actual historical events could occur in sequence with the game system.
