Summer
Khazars invade the Roman Empire. Battle of Antioch is a clear if hard fought Khazar victory.
Persia moves to recover its territory from Dar al-Islam taking advantage of the desert between the Muslim outpost in Persia and their army. Mosul is besieged but holds out.
Yemen marches on Muza while the Quraysh army is recovering. The city is blockaded but refuses to surrender.
Nobatia likewise tries to recover lost territory whilst the Byzantines are licking their wounds after Antioch. Dongola is besieged but the attackers fail to force the defences.
Autumn
The Khazars pursue the Byzantines to the gates of Constantinople. A determined assault by the Khazars is beaten back by an equally fanatical defence and the besiegers suffer considerable losses.
The Persians break through the Muslim defences of Mosul, taking the city and putting the garrison to the sword.
Muza surrenders to the Yemeni besiegers.
The Nobaian army starved the Byzantine garrison to submission at Dongola, recovering the city.

Spring
Islamic gold foments a revolt in Yemen. The Yemeni expel their Lahkmid overlords.
Axum launches an offensive to recover territory from the Lahkmids. Battle of Zaylah is a near run fight but the Lahkmids are victorious when the Axumite general is killed by a chance shot from skirmishers. In the dying phases of the battle the Axumites manage to cause some casualties to the Lahkmids, but too late to tip the scales.
With the Axumites trapped in their capital the Alodians move on Suakin and try to recover it. The city is besieged but refuses to surrender.
Nobatia attacks Alodia attempting the recover territory of theirs that the Alodians hold. The battle of Aydhab begins well for the Alodians before a series of charges by the Nobades break up the Alodian line and give the invaders a convincing victory.
Persia pushes into Byzantine territory. Jerusalem is placed under siege. The city holds out.
The Quraysh turn their attention to the Lahkmids. Yamama is placed under blockade but the defences hold.
The Lahkmids follow up on their victory and attack Aksum. The battered Axumite army mans the walls but as the Nomads breach the walls the defenders are wiped out.
Yemen moves into Quraysh territory and blockades Narjan. The citizens put up a spirited defence and the city holds out.
Dar al-Islam begins an offensive into Quraysh territory. Mecca refuses calls to surrender and is placed under siege.
Summer
The Alodians renew their attempt to retake Suakin and march on the city again. The citizens refuse to open the gates and the blockade is renewed.
Nobatia continues its offensive deep into Alodian territory swooping down on the capital, Napata. The garrison puts up stiff resistance and the city remains free.
The Persians successfully breach the defences of Jerusalem and take the city.
The Quraysh siege of Yamama continues but gets no closer to capturing the city. They are taunted from the walls by the Lahkmid garrison.
Yemeni forces successfully storm the walls of Narjan and capture the city.
Mecca falls to Dar al-Islam after the gates are forced by Muslim forces.
Autumn
Suakin’s garrison beats back all attempts by the Al.odians. The city remains part of the Aksumite kingdom despite being cut off from the capital.
Nobatia’s besieging force fails to make headway against Napata.
Fearful of being trapped in hostile territory and facing a march across the desert if they fail, the Quraysh redouble their efforts. Yamama falls to a desperate assault and the city is subjected to a brutal sacking.
Dar al-Islam marches on the Quraysh capital Haíl. They are rebuffed by the garrison and fail to take the city by siege.
